Tony has worked extensively in Europe, USA, Canada, Russia and Asia, in both private and public sectors. Specialisms includes rapid package selection, CRM & supply chain, programme mobilisation & planning, programme healthchecks, and use of programme / project management tools.Industries include financial services,investment banking, FMCG, leisure, healthcare, local & central government, even includinga stint for the Russian Government.
in 2000 he was responsible for the launch of Blueyonder for Telewest, the UK’s first residential broadband internet service where systems integration work was accompanied by extensive efforts to transform the business from a telco to an internet services provider, redesigning business processes and ensuring business readiness for launch.
Within CGEY Tony was a senior member of the Major Programme Management. He has acted as counselling manager to an number of senior consultants and also held responsibilities for recruitment and training needs.
His experience comprises systems development, operations management, and twelve years consultancy with Ernst & Young (becoming CGEY upon merger) where he has gained experience in a variety of different industries. Recent assignments have had a large programme management aspect, including major change management activities and integrations either post merger or across divisions within an organisation.
He was responsible for developing, marketing, selling and delivering CGEY’s Programme Healthcheck product offering – including an innovative web delivery method. He also has a special interest in tools and processes, participating in a global forum looking at programme & project management tools.
His work has also included rapid systems selection and development for multi national clients, principally in the area of supply chain & logistics. Over his extended consulting career his key clients have also included major players in insurance & banking.In the past couple of years a main focus has been upon programme management of major new product launch in the telecoms and media sector.
Within CGEY, Tony led the Technology Strategy & Management team within their integrated telecoms global business unit, before moving into the Business Programme Enablement team.

Joined Barclays Private Clients in 2003 as a Senior Programme Manager in Change Delivery. In addition to leading major programmes in UK Premier; International & Private Banking, represents the division on a committee and working party to implement standardized methods (PRINCE2 etc) and tools (EPM) across the Group.
He is a member of Isochron, a business and by invitation-only community of high profile programme managers. A forum for thought leadership and developing new techniques – with an emphasis on portfolio management and benefits realization; doing projects which most benefit the bottom line and halting those of little value.
Outside work Tony participated in Peru Hikeaway 2000, a fund raising charity walk across the Andes, and Chile Hikeaway 2002, a similar trek in southern Patagonia. His hobbies include golf, cricket, sport and travel. He is a qualified private pilot.
